we're waiting for the flood, rain bird, the telephone is empty, can you get what tunes i have on?
i'm unemployed and i need to find another job in NY. i've been concentrating on myself, but it's time to get active in society. i'm running around downtown to check a few places. it's hard to find something to pay the bills and still allow you to do what you want. for some of the leads, my unemployment check pays the same amount or close to it.
My last job was managing a nightclub/broadway theater and setting up the events there as well, but it turned into a 60 hour a week nitemare thing and I hated myself for it, and i didn't really respect a lot of the clients we would attract. i wasn't really into the owner either.
if anyone's there, what's an honest way to make a living that perhaps i haven't thought of, that i wouldn't have to bring home with me, and would give me enough flexibility for music? i'm going into the studio with the guys in may/june and i want time for that... as in i enjoy hard work but i don't want to manage anyone again. maybe i'll be a cater waiter. i know all of these catering companies when i was planning parties from my last job. that seems mindless enough, if you can stand hanging around the starving actors. any other ideas?
hey! i'm going to Ireland in a few days for my cousin's wedding and I just wanted everyone (anyone) to know. My cousin is getting married. She lives in LA but is tying the knot at Waterford Castle!? woo woo. I rented this tiny tiny car and I'm staying in hostels, but she's putting us up for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding which is cool. One of her friends is playing a concert in Dublin so like 20 of us are going to that as well. It should be fun.
