weird weird weird past few days.
today i was in coney island with a friend and it was like one long, big, lazy hallucination. we rode the cyclone and walked on the beach, etc. i'm bushed right now and am gonna fall asleep soon if i can.
the other day a bathroom attendant in the club i work in was climbing a radiator to adjust the AC in the bathroom, slipped and cut his head deeply. blood was spraying out. our sound engineer heard him, and called me up and when i got there it was like a crime scene. think "carrie". having been in trauma situations before i know it usually looks worse than it is. luckily this was the case, but in the moment, applying direct pressure to an old mexican guy's headwound with blood literally all over me, i was a little anxious inside. the emt's arrived in about 12 minutes and he got 26 stiches in his head, but he was fine other than that. i found out why there was so much blood, though. he was on cumidin, a blood thinning medication, and boy, that shit works, lemme tell you.
i think i took a bleach bath after that, then drank a lot of tequila.
