stereo amp called it quits
livingroom lamps blew up
fridge went tits up
freezer turned into my fridge
and tonight the kitchen sink drainpipe corroded all the way through.

what's next?

i'm a little sniffly right now. probably coz i'm run down. i'm going to take it easy this weekend.

last weekend was fun tho. last sunday i played dodge ball at Volume in brooklyn. my team got crushed again for the second time, but we still had a good time. free food and beer, plus there was even a streaker. 20 or so teams came out, and a lot of fans to cheer us on. david cross 's team "twinkle" kicked our ass, and went to the finals. the uber-boys and uber-girls from vice magazine won the whole damn thing. they have this guy who looks like axl rose who could throw the ball hard as shit.

mark from www.polaroidscene.com took some funny photos. afterwards we hit the afterparty at that new place cash checking on north 3rd and Kent. they had great burgers.

ahh, memories. right now i'm blowing snot into a paper towel, praying i get better before monday. i'm playing a show at Piano's sponsored by the Onion. there's going to be some snappy bands in the lineup and i want to rock! it's the debut gig with our new drummer joe, who's a fucking monster. He's played with Will Oldham, Jesse Malin, Jason Lowenstien from sebadoh and a whole buncha other acts and he's such a wonderful guy and a great addition to our band. i'm so excited.
