The salvation army and goodwills kinda suck around my way. Their is one thrift store that has half off day and I have gotten many of old school nintendo games cheap. Good deal on the beach though, the beatles are good times.

sorry to read that. relationships are bullshit anyway. people set themselves up with all sorts of idealistic expectations, and are inevitably disappointed. as for me, i think it's too late to become a monk, (my lack of belief doesn't exactly help, either), but somethings got to change. jesus, that was all pretty negative. anyway, hopefully things will go better the next time.

I've been able to avoid the quarter-life crisis relatively easily. I just stopped celebrating my birthday. After a year or so, one just forgets (or at least, I just forget)

Sure, there is the occasional awkward silence when someone asks me how old I am, during which I'd be thinking to myself, "OK, this is 2005...I was born in...When was I born?" and counting off on my fingers...

But the pros outweigh the cons quite a bit. It's hard to explain, but it's nice not thinking/worrying how old I am. In SOME situtaions (not all, but some), ignorance is bliss. It's one less thing on my mind.
