I am feeling rather introspective and melancholy today. I think it is all the rain. I am really sick of it. I just checked long-range forecast models, and it looks like it will be continuing for the next 10 days. I usually don't mind it, so I am a little surprised it is bothering me this much. I am typing this while at work, but I am taking a break at a little internet caf, downtown. I've been staring at these two crows in this leafless tree along the sidewalk. It is blustery, grey, and cold out. And of course the ever present rain. It just turned nine o'clock and I am a little surprised to suddenly be hearing a single church bell ringing. On a Monday? Maybe it's for President's Day or somethingweird. How fitting, the whole moment, the crows, the grey and the church bell. If I could some how capture the entire moment in a picture it would reflect my mood perfectly.

Shelly and I should get out of town. I would love to go somewhere sunny and warm. Maybe Vegas, or something. I would really love to get down to Mexico, or Cozumel. That would be perfect! Warm sun, and blue water. Some warm water diving would be really awesome. Hmmm word for the day: "Boat drinks"
