x-mas gifts: I go with something that reminds me of them, but it is usually something they will like not neccessarily (sp?) want. They usually like it though.

I have pleanty of people that I wish were still in my life, but for reasons beyond MY control, they are not. They know every way possible to contact me, yet I haven't telked to quite a few of them since July. jerks.

I know what you mean about your dad. The first time I got an e-mail from mine I almost dropped. I still have to fix things when something goes wrong with the computer though.

I frequently wonder how people I used to know are doing...anywhere from former teachers to previous girl friends. For the latter, I actually remain friends with most of them afterwords (what can I say, I like to be intimate on many levels...and sometimes some levels transfer well to other relationship types), but some....well...some of them I really sometimes wonder how they are, how they're doing, if they're happy...etc.

It is hard having someone in your life (and you being in theirs), and then losing track of that connection....no longer being in each other's life.

But, in direct answer to the question, yes, there are people who were once in my life that I wish still were.

I think that when I get a new mag. in the mail it's one of my favorite things!!!!! So better than bills.

I'm not really that tough, I just deal. I don't like it but... there is light at the end of the tunnel. Have a happy evening!

i had to go back to work after a lil minivacation today, so - i'm right there with you.

If you need any help with your computer, let me know. I might be of some assistance (although only with the software side, as I'm not a guru with laptop internals and hardware). Also, as long as it's not a Mac.

Leave me a comment if there are any other things still going on with it that you may need fixing.
