I have found that a LOT of people in the world dont want to listen to you, hear your opinions, or help you through your problems. Most people, whether they realize it or not, are just waiting on the edge of their seats for their turn to talk. Lots of people take it to the next level and make it obvious they have no interest instead of just politely waiting to speak.
I learned this a long time ago. If I try talking to my Mom or Sister for example their eyes glaze over, all answers turn into Mmhmm or Oh, and as soon as I pause they start talking about something in their life. Doesnt make them bad people really, doesnt mean they dont care about me.I just really think they dont realize they do it.
