so DocSparrow bought me a new bird today. it was my xmas gift.as some of you know my bird died like almst 3 weeks ago. i was devasted. so doc took me to a bird store and bought me a knew one. he is almost all grey and super cute. we named him Smokey. doc brings him home tmrw for me!! i cant wait to meet him again! i am a little nervous about it which is funny. i didnt think i was ready for a new bird but smokey seemed to really like me and i liked him. he isnt like harley (my first bird) but he seemed relaxed with me which surprised me. i cant help being nervous though that he wont remember me from today. i miss my bird tremendously and the relationship that we had. its so hard to start all over again. but i think that doc could sense my need for that companionship. it was such a thoughtful gift. i took harley's death very hard. i had wanted to adopt another bird but when doc took me to the bird store i was excited. i just cant wait to meet my new bird!!!!!!

smokey seemed to really like me and i liked him.
that's too cute. I think birds are pretty bright actually. I had a dove once, it was awesome.
