I made two sets of curtains last night (kitchen and living room, so the neighborhood creepos couldn't spy on me anymore), and I'm making a duvet cover and a big cushion for my chair tonight. And a skirt...This newfound proclivity towards sewing is making me realize how much one can get done when unemployed...and how much I miss getting drunk.

Okay, what's your top three holiday movies? I'm polling out of curio…
I always wanted to learn how to sew, and make DIY skirts and dresses, etc. but I can't afford a sewing machine, and even if I could I wouldn't know what to look for when buying, and I have no time for sewing...and I have many other excuses to not do something I've always wanted to do. ack.
