Happy Friday friends!! This weekend is a special weekend; it is my best friend's birthday weekend. I met my bf when I was five years old; we grew up on the same street. Also, ironically, she is my boss, and the coolest boss one can imagine. She's been there for me through the good and the bad, so I have a very special place in my heart for her.
Tomorrow is the big bash. She is throwing herself a bowling party. Being the selfless being that she is, she has refused our help. She wants everyone else to relax, and have an awesome time. That's how amazing she is.
Tonight, while dying my hair pink, I decided to make her party favors. I am calling them "bowling bags", since I hand-painted bowling balls and pins on each bag. What kind of treasures will fill these bags, you might ask? Glow sticks, hair ties, Advil, and other party necessities. Normally, I'd be making an elaborate cake, but I'm still on sebaticle. Tomorrow is going to be super exciting.
There are two things about this post that are, also, new and exciting. If you haven't spotted them on your own, I will tell you. #1 I changed my name to Reasa. I have good reasons for the name change, and I feel like my new name sounds much dreamier. And, it's a hint of my middle name. #2 That shiny "bride of Frankenstein" tattoo on my left shin is new, and super-awesome. The original Frankenstein is my all time favorite movie, and I enjoy staring at this tattoo. This is actually the only tattoo I can stare at on my body, since the rest are on the back of me.
