I've been a little depressed
Today was the last day of school, and it kind of sucked to surprise the kids about me not coming back, but I think it will be easier this way. It doesn't help that many just simply didn't want to believe me or the fact that after I leave the class for a second after school- I find a note on my desk like this:
"I just wanted to let you know that you are a great teacher. it's really sad that you aren't coming back. I hope you enjoy life wherever you end up and thanks for everything."
this wasn't from a "slacker" like I usually get shit like this from- it was from a girl that earned the highest grade semester grade (Quarter 3 + Quarter 4 + Final)
so what do I do when I feel a bit down? punch things you say? no, maybe in my youth, but I've been counseled about my anger issues (ok, not really)
