I just don't get it
Just found out that I am "not one of the 2 finalists" for the FT position I was "competing for", aka, I'm the LT sub and there are 2 positions open.
This is the 2nd year in a row that this has happened to me.
I don't cross any boundaries, I consider myself a good teacher, sure not the best, but hell, I'm good. My students would agree with me (I surevey them, anonymously of course). I know my students would pass anyone else's final exams
I'm active with the school and the community- volunteer asst lacrosse coach, involved in many student-faculty functions, and fundraisers.
Yet, I'm passed up once again.
I'm sick of teaching in a different school every year. I'm sick of having to kiss ass just to get a thought for a position.

And the power went out, so we lost a/c in the basement cafeteria where they huddled all 200 people in the wall and primary... It smelled like a sweat sock shoved up a sick monkey's ass.
