Time is running short
I've got a little more than a month left of the school year. This would have most teachers screaming for joy except I'm temporary this year, I'm there for this year, then I have to try to get on again, or somewhere else.
I'm getting sick of teaching in a different school every year. Hopefully the fact that there are 2 leaving the dept will help my cause.
I'm taking it as a good sign that the dept head had asked me why she hasn't seen my resume yet for the posted position.
lax is doing ok- we officially have a winning record. 6-5. our 6th was when we decided to prove a point to the players that didn't show up to the practice before the game- we sat them. In this list was our starting goalie and one of our best defenders. The kids stepped up hardcore. Even more impressive- JV had 8 sitting. The only realy "starters" was the 1st line middies. Our goalie is normally one of our starting attack. Everything thing else was pretty much random kids. We only had one other middie line- no other subs. It was nuts and a great win for them
xbox 360 rules, I just can't wait until they get some decent racing games out/

Congrats!! That is impressive, and I'm sure taught the kids that being a starter shouldn't be taken for granted.
