let's just sum up the end of my shift

I got stuck in an elevator at a detox center for 30 minutes or more. With my partner- who's a whack job and was pulling the "I'm not freaking out, I'm keeping the pt calm" bullshit. she took the fucking time to call her boyfriend (who's like a 4 star general in the company) to talk to him. While this is going on, my pt is having 8/10 chest pain. After we get out, she stops to talk to Worcester Fire. WHAT THE FUCK!!!

but then it got better.

Found out that 2 drunks were having sex in teh newly renovated "drunk tank" at Worcester Med. THe male wasn't a pt so he was thrown out. The woman was so drunk/pissed at the nurse that she was throwing food at her from her dinner. Then she squatted and pissed on the floor.

oh, and before all this-I helped a medic truck carry a bullshit call down three flights of steps. THe kid was light, so what's the big deal? there were no fucking lights at all in the stair well- I'm talking pitch black. so the medic's partner held one flashlight while skippy the wonder twin held the other.
