Upon a Hilltop Shallow

To gaze beyond the shores
beyond the miurkest black
of a silver-salted sea
is to exist in gentle antiquity

That soft mound grazed raw
and perfect for ponder
like the thinkers of time aback
and wonder anew

A time of myth place
where no silence is modern
lost celebraties above
in trophies agelagged

A thousand pale feather pricks
upon The Untouchable veil
each tidal wretch sightless
a blinding ritual
ever spokeless through time

Upon this hilltop shallow
standing on the edge
of a vast cosmic sea
I await a Nothing

A wait not returned
as the horizon blasts vertical
an orchestra of countless
gone in one single
breath-wrenching solo

Once calmfounded, once tranquil,
a shrouded purple now engulfed
in a violent poison red
requim mass.
