I see nothing wrong with wanting to take a little of what you love home with you and protecting it so it's not forgotten forever. I normally love what I do but I'm having a hard time staying motivated. All I want to do is fly home, climb on the back of my bike and ride to I don't want to ride anymore.

Death and Musical Theatre....

I've seen this show so many times... Worked on it on other theatres ( and on the road for a short bit... ) and now I'm helping tech a local production. I know that I have swing with the L.D. A wonderful woman who I've worked with for years and I kind of think of her as a favorite, chosen mother....

That sucks to see a show you love get handled in a way you disagree with. I know where you're coming from feeling like you shouldn't say anything - that's got to feel frustrating!

A little Fall Of Rain...

Of course , the one day off from the Les Mis tech this week...and it's pouring rain. The last week of April always seems to be like a summer teaser. Nice and sunny, warm... we put away our coats and hunt the city for cheap sunglasses. Only to pullout the coats and lose the sunglasses for another month and half....

Everyone's writting about rain! It hardly ever rains here. It snowed a couple of weeks ago and killed the houseplants I forgot out on the balcony, though....

Thievery Corporation....

God, it's been ages since I worked a rock concert. All the senior cats showing up due to the crumbling tour situation around the globe ( Thankfully we're doing AC/DC and U2 at B.C. Place in the fall. - a few glimmers of light in a dismal show season ) I put myself back on the replacement list - the local's 24/7 inside...

Work Dreams....

This isn't good... I've been having repetitive work dreams. Crashing, falling, accident type dreams. Every-time I get them I know that the next run is going to suck in some way. Sadly, I regularly get them before and during the tech of the summer musical for a particular employer. This year they're attempting, how shall I say it a Boutique version Les Mis....

Sound Of Music "Train Station"

It's looking very slight that I'm going to get away to NYC before Les Miz starts. So I thought I'd upload something that makes me smile.

Mind you...I'm really looking at all the NYC stay options. And if I change the dates to after Les Miz in the July / August. I 'll have a better trip, with more time...

Going Mobile

I keep trying to find a way to use my Back macBook laptop for entries.... I bought one with the idea of travel ( which, if i don't get the full callout for Les Miz - I'm on the show run. But, the setup calls haven't been posted for me to dispatch. I'll have to move my vacation to NYC to July or...

Sigh... it's hard to take things as seriously as you once did back when you were being perpetually basted in hormones (nice wording, btw!). Music just isn't the same... unless it's retro.

G Vs. MA....

It's been a while...Work has been off and on. Of course with the recession spurious Live entertainment goes first. All the production companies in town are cutting back crews to save money before the end of the season for fear of not having the same budgets as other years, next season.

I've been branching out... Working on the Sky-train line, working late...

British Racing Green Leather Motorcycle Jacket....

How come when your out of work the best things show up....That's the problem with unemployment, when you're not working but your mind is racing.

Sadly I'm a Gemini. So my mind tends to race in two different directions at any one time if not focused on something.

This is one of the reasons I think I'm still single...

Heh, well, even Sanctuary Visualization isn't up to helping me fall asleep early during daylight savings. Probably didn't help that I had like 3 naps today.

Congrats on your new purchase. Re: still single at 41 - have you come close to settling down a few times? Or has it just never worked out?

Well done, you deserve the damn jacket I'm sure. Looks like I landed a job in Mexico.
