It's looking very slight that I'm going to get away to NYC before Les Miz starts. So I thought I'd upload something that makes me smile.
Mind you...I'm really looking at all the NYC stay options. And if I change the dates to after Les Miz in the July / August. I 'll have a better trip, with more time in NYC. And have a better idea of cooler places to stay and things to do. .
On the sad side, while looking I couldn't help but wonder what the cost of a studio in NYC is to buy. I checked out craigslist, searching for studio apartments in the Bronx, and around the city.
They're cheaper than one in Vancouver! Really nice 159,999.00 to 210,000 dollar places all over NYC. One beautiful studio in a three story walk up in The Bronx that looks like a set from West Side Story. If only I had an open work permit I could get a mortgage easily here with my bank for one.
Apply for sister local status with local 1 and spend my mornings in the replacement rooms at the different Locals. Just waiting for day calls around the city. With all the venues and my lighting experience I would be able to pay for a mortgage.....
