Man Tries To Understand What The Hell Went Wrong....

So, I take the evening off... ( yes I could have worked... I chose not to... Oh sweet uncomplicated work...) and go to the first Sin City of 2009. Maybe this is a special night... maybe destiny...naw... that never happens. I think too much and miss my opening as always.

I'm checking out this girl - woman....really( I think she's checking out me... who knows??? Women are so un-fathomly un-figurable out. - At least I think so ) She's not a model type... she's geeky... a nice character type. You know sexy but not perfect in that boxed perfection type that fostered on guys as the thing to shoot for. ( really those women are just awful hideous manifestations of the dumb every man desire frankenstienian. ) No, this girl was smart / character cute... hard to explain. Really, just the type I like.... leave it at that.

Throughout the night.... There's what I guess is a proximity thing happening. Of course I wait to long to let the G&T and the imported beer kick in ( liquor courage ) She dances close and then, suddenly plays the wallflower for the final act.

And in the last few tracks fro the DJ I ask her to come dance... " it's the last song of the night" She claims she's tired... and with the bar closed I have no response.... So I go back to dancing.

And as I turn around she's gone... like they always are. And all I can think is... you know if I actually was right. That you really were interested in me, even to a point. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT RUNNING AWAY LIKE THAT DOES TO ME !!!!

It's like the Anti-laugh. Guys fear that when they actually get up the nerve to approach a woman she'll laugh at them. But, the next worse thing is the disappearing woman.....
