Reality bites....boots

Well, shows are pretty lean for the next while. Which is good I have normal people stuff to do. Clean, do laundry. find and Buy new boots ( Don't you just hate it when your favorite boot maker changes their models - I just wanted to be able to march in there, get the size 7 blundstone red back boots that I've been wearing for the past 6 years. pull the new ones on, and dump off the old ones in their recycle bin. And be back on the road within minutes. That's how guys like to shop. But no, they discontinued the ones I like. ) Which means I have to travel to the US to get the boots I want. Or, spend the next few weeks looking for new casual boot

Fix my car door locks ( I can't tell if someone tried to break into it or it's just age. ) It just figures that the minute I make really decent money my little green German mistress needs work.

I at least got to hng out with a friend, Luis who's just back from Burning Man. If I don't get the PNE next year I'm going to look into going with him. It sounds like he had an awesome time and everyone was really cool out on the salt flats.

I'm so looking forward to fall. I think it's the geeky schoolkid part of me that always liked heading back to classes. It will be nice to wear sweaters and do some cooking at home again. I hate cooking in summer. It's too hot to do that and still want to eat after all the work.
