Ive booked a ticket to Tokyo for September! Im going to geek out and buy as much weird ass stuff as I can get back through customs! Anyone have tips on stuff to do or places to visit?

Freeplay is on this weekend for anyone in Melbourne whos interested in the games industry. Its looking to be a good year with some quality topics. Its on Friday and Saturday from about 10am I think.
Im on two of the panels:
Friday 2pm Playing in someone elses sandbox (all about making licensed games based on movies, comics, etc)
Saturday 10am Ask a game developer (audience can ask any question they like)
I think tickets are $20 but its worth it to meet most of the Melbourne industry.

Japan is crazy - in a lovable way! But it can be a bit much at times. There's a really cool restaurant in Tokyo called Ninja Akasaka. I suggest you have dinner there one night.
