So my mum has been over for the last while and it hasn't been enirely horrible. She arrived on thursday night and we went to see a movie at the newly opened independent cinema in Portsmouth.

The movie was caled Grizzly Man, about a guy who lived in the wild with grizzly bears for a couple of months every year until he and his girlfriend got eaten by one. Its a documentary with lots of the guys footage in it - its quite interesting - the guy is a complete freak!

On Friday we went to see Be Your Own Pet play - yes my mum likes good music! They were really awesome while they lasted. They played for about 25 minutes and then these assholes in the crowd started a "Get your tits out" chant and the lead singer got really upset. She sang on more song then slammed the mic down on the stage and stormed off. Now I can understand her being pissed off and upset but seriously, if she wants to be the lead singer of a band she has got to toughen up!

Saturday we went up the Spinnaker Tower which is this big white monstrosity in Portsmouth that gives you a really good view of where I live! I took some crappy pictures on my phone - I miss my digital camera *sniff*



Then went for yummy lunch and shopping! Woo! And to finish off the evening went to see Hundred Reasons who totally kicked ass! It was a sweaty event with much dancing and lots of rocking out!



And then today she left and I got to go work out and my uber glam new gym! Oh it is soo lovely with a view of the seafront and you can just watch all the people go by! I love it! See how long that lasts

And now I'm working full time for the next two weeks - doubtful there will be many eventful times - except Placebo on Tuesday!!!!
