As long term readers will know I nearly left a few months ago. Now I can leave with a big payoff, from a job I've long lost the love for. How cool is that.

A moment's silence for the guys that work for me who weren't so lucky and are now on notice. It's not what they chose, they are good guys and I had to be the one to break the bad news. Sucked...but I'd rather they heard from me
So, my last day if due to be 31st March next year. I'm hoping for what we quaintly call "garden leave". For those unfamiliar with the term...getting paid to stay home and not work.
Three months being paid to stay at home. It gets better and better
In other news...
- my gig frenzy is calming down a bit. Only one more before the Christmas break...old Punks the Damned and a Burlesque show. If I must
- off to a the Race of Champions which is at Wembley (London) for the first time. Indoor first class motor racing. If I must
- after too many Christmas holidays with family friction, I'm voting with my feet this year. Off to Malta and I'll leave my brother to it. Hot sun, parties and no stress for Christmas. If I must
