It's taken a mad couple of weeks, but at last I'm tired. Actually more than that!

Lots of people at work and a few friends have been making the most of my generous nature. So today I've been selfish for once and taken a day off. A four hour drive home through rain, sleet and snow meakes that a very good idea.

Usually it takes me a coffee or two to wake up. Today I'm on my third and starting to come round

So what's been happening? Arguments all around me at work, which now seem to be calming down. We're taking far too much on this year, and the cracks are starting to show. Just as well my team have a good boss (modesty never was my strong suit)

And lots of driving. Just as well an expensive service of the car finally got booked in. Found a front tyre was on it's last legs, that explains the vibrations coming through the steering wheel. Finally got grip again...thanks to my local tyre shop (and they are another story all together!)

For those like me that like Monty Python at their silliest, you have to go and see Spamalot the musical. Really funny, and played for laughs. Enough to tempt me into a West End theatre which is saying something

So much to do on a day off. Some paperwork. The house is a mess after being away for two weekends in a row. And starting preparations for a long planned trip to Sweden weekend after next. I'll need to get back to work for the rest

Kerrang TV has just reminded me of more driving this week. It's all in a good cause, to go and see My Chemical Romance in Birmingham. I have a nasty feeling I'll be increasing the average age of the audience by about ten years...am I bothered? Well no actually

Just been outside too. Man it's cold Wish spring would hurry up!
