Wow, well, had most of the week off from work. I would say this was fun, but I still need to be making money, so I really need to find some other places that need security. My manager has been pretty slow getting me the numbers he mentioned, so I've gotta start hunting some of them down myself. Maybe tonight I can get him to write some down for me on a napkin or something.
I discovered the joy that is Trader Joe's frozen foods section yesterday. And here I thought the only good thing about that place was 2$ wine! Oh, what a wonderful source of frozen goodies. I also bought some mole sauce, which I shall put on chicken.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up about anything, but I've been talking to a nice young Los Angeles lady on the internets over the past few nights, and am currently wondering if that's not going to amount to anything. I'm much, much more cautious than I used to be in terms of the ladies, but I can't help but try, from time to time, to satiate that need for companionship.
Restaurant week is coming! My housemates and I are going to go to some steakhouse one night, and I plan on eating so much that my body will switch from being mostly water to mostly red meat. Pray for me.
