Lessons for the week:
1: It's hard to find housing within a small price bracket in Los Angeles. I expected this would be the case. What I didn't expect was that it would be not as a result of finding places that were for lease for reasonable prices, but rather because the people that were selling them simply refused to get back to me about them. I'll have to start calling earlier in the day, which brings me to *sigh* lesson 2.
2: I must start waking up earlier. While I didn't have a real reason to in my previous situation, I do now. Dammit.
3: It's very, very good to have friends, and frequently not for the reasons you expect. People are always capable of surprising you, if you have even the smallest bit of wonder left in your body.
