I just listened to someone on the radio talk about something interesting... Dr. Graves was discussing how HIV was a government/man-made disease. He had a LOT of really sound arguements, and was citing documentation that the interviewer (Capone, from the River.) had on hand... he made it seem quite feasible.
Then he brought the entire thing down.
First of all, suddenly he has a vested monetary interest. Apparently, he was diagnosed as being HIV+, and was trying to sue the government over it. This is the sort of thing that would Severly cloud his ability to hear anyones opposing view on the matter, which he made Very obvious. He wouldn't let Capone get a word in edgewise, regardless of if he was agreeing or disagreeing, or even just asking.
Secondly, he veered it toward saying that it is designed and targetted toward African-Americans. HIV can easily affect Anyone, regardless of race.
Capone brought up some good points against it being aimed at African Americans... especially us paying billions specificly toward the treatment of HIV/AIDS in Africa. There was no economical point.
I have problems respecting someones opinion if they're entirely closed off from opposing viewpoints.

Anyhow, the entire thing was very interesting... and because of it, I completely spaced stopping at Homer's. I was gonna buy the Venaculas new CD. Dammit. Mebbe later.
