It has been a couple days since I have posted but a lot has happened. I spent almost the entire weekend helping my ex move to her new place in the city. Her place is tiny, only 300 square feet. Now I am a minimalist, if you saw my house you might not believe it, but its true. I could live their easily. I think she can too but we will see. She is excited about starting her new life in the city and is excited to have her own place. Because we were together for so long we have a lot of financial responsibilities together so I will be in contact with her for the next couple years. This is a good thing because I don't want to lose contact with her. She will be coming next weekend to take the cat and dog so we will see how they adjust to the smaller space. I think the cat will be OK but the dog is used to bigger spaces. Fortunately he is a tiny dog so I think he will be ok.
My mailboxes have been built. I was talking with my Dad today and he said that when he went to check them out there were like 6 neighbors looking at them. I will take and post a picture tomorrow so you guys can see them. They are really nice. All I am waiting for now is for a guy to come acid wash them.
I think I have a solid lead on the sale of my other house! I had an open house today and one couple came in and spent 2 hours talking to me. I heard many phrases like "I love this" or "our furniture would totally fit in here". It is hard to be hopeful because I have had so much bad luck with the place. We will see if they get in contact with me this week. I mean do you really spend two hours chatting with an owner if you don't like the place?
Well it is back to work next week. I guess I get to see how the shakeup is going since a whole team is walking out. It was so nice having the week off that I really don't want to go in. Maybe I will call in sick.
