I am a day behind on my blog... oh well, it happens. So Tuesday was a fun day. I hired a contractor to build me two brick mailboxes in the front of my house. This was something that I wanted to do last year but I didn't have the extra money so I waited until this year. My mailbox that I had was a POS and was constantly falling down 
I also got the quote for all my landscaping and I think I am going to have to work 6 jobs to pay it off. I HAVE to do some of it as required by the city that I live in but how much I do will depend on how much I can haggle the price. i already prepped the guy for a haggle telling him that his price was too high. I am most likely going to do the negotiations on Friday so I will post on how it goes.
So it is only 4 more days until my ex moves onto bigger and better things. We are renting a truck on Saturday so that she can move out. That will be a very sad day indeed. I know I have mentioned this many times before so I won't drone on about it.
I was actually pretty productive on Tuesday. This has been a problem for me lately and I am unsure why. There are so many things that I need to do and I just need to find the time/motivation to do them. I have the drive its just the execution part that is frustrating me.
I can't believe how much stuff has happened at work without me. I mentioned some of my good friends leaving but I had no idea that more are planning to go. I finally got a hold of one of them last night and had a two hour phone chat with just who is going. It is going to be crazy around there for a while and probably get a bit lonelier. I guess I will just have to talk to them one by one and say my goodbyes from work. There are only really one or two that I will probably keep in steady contact with simply because I am so bad at it.
The weather is poopy today. It was so nice the last couple days but the spring rain has invaded Chicago again. I hope that it warms up for the weekend so that I can have an open house at my old place.
