Next on my movie list was Prometheus...
As far as I was told this is supposed to be some kind of prequel or other take of the Aliens series...
In the preview I didn't see it. During the whole of the nearly 2 hour movie I briefly saw it and thought it was poorly executed.
All in all, I am vastly disappointed in this movie and extremely glad I didn't waste money seeing it in theaters.
As far as Sci-fi movies go, it wasn't bad. As far as having anything to do with the Aliens series... that was a shit effort. I think whoever wrote this [Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof] as a tie in did so over night on a drunken bender frantically beating off periodically as a personal reward for their own perceived greatness, singing "I am so great. I am so great. Everybody love me. I am so great" like a two year old Bart Simpson.
If you have yet to see this movie do yourself a favor and just borrow it from someone.

Ugh, I know it's a pain in the ass, but when you guys find the right combo of drugs and therapy and everything, I now it'll all be worth it. Hang in there!
