So yesterday after I get an award for math for whatever the fuck, I start down the street and then my shifter goes all limp. The shift cable broke loose from the shifter. So I tear apart my center counsel and shove that bitch back on the shifter and head home. I start thinking how this happened with my last Saturn and how I fixed it then. Last time I used steel wire. . . so I start thinking how I need more steel wire. But also it seemed like the shoving it back on might work. But also that I should find that steel wire.

I head out to drop a couple things in the mail and BAM! whore lets loose again. In the middle of the road. So I push the car out of the road and past the red zone and start tearing apart the center counsel again. I shove the cable back on and head to the post office. (Drop a t-shirt I sold for $30 and the guys hat headed to CUPCAKES! With Babylon 5 Season 1.) After that I take off and head home constantly shoving the cable back on. I get home and I pop the trunk to look for something to rig up till the replacement part comes in the mail, yeah I already ordered that yesterday, I open the trunk up and see the steel cable. . . The MacGyver theme starts playing in my head while I jury rig up something. Takes me just a few minutes but now things work.
