Christmas is almost here!
I'm not really sure what I'm excited about. My family is kind of crazy and it's always awkward-like because we only see eachother at Christmas. And everyone who I used to hang out with who are my age have kids and I have nothing in common anymore. Then the other side of the family are super conservative (not in the political way) and I can never agree with anything they say.
But I guess that's what Christmas is all about!
I went to Linen N Things today and picked up my christmas gift I got from my Aunt in BC. I got plates! Woohoo! Actually they're really nice plates for when I move out in May. At least that's the game plan. I then picked up some huge white paper. I'm actually too embarassed to say what I'm going to do with them because it's sooo nerdy.
Anyways, so what else is new. Oh, I had a Telus interview last week for a UNIX system admin position. It was rough. They asked tough questions and I don't think they liked me much. They were just older... and the place was so dead and gloomy looking. Bleh.
Oh! I'm going to Sonic's New Year Bash at the One on Whyte. Anyone else going? I'm actually pretty excited. I don't go to the bars much, mostly because my friends don't go to the bars much. Sometimes I wonder if I'm in the right group
And there will be live bands - Social Code and 10 Second Epic. I enjoy seeing live bands at bars. All you bitches better come too.

fun story: me and two friends of mine always exchange gifts. My main reason for continuing this tradition is because we, unlike the rest of my family, are all roughly the same age and so into the same things. If not for them I would hate christmas shopping...
As a choir boy I love the music but I hate the shopping and associated angst. Life is complicated, no?
Hope your interviews go well... I hope you end up doing better than me.
Y'know, if you'd like to go out more instead of just sitting around and looking at each other, I'm always up for an outing. Especially if I can wear my kick ass new boots. They're ass kicking boots. Let's start fights so I can kick ass!!!!
