This week's @bloghomework was to talk about our favorite TV shows!
First and foremost, my number one favorite will always be Sailor Moon. I grew up with this show and still watch it on a daily basis to this day. My name is Raye because I like to pretend the I'm Sailor Mars :) I'm only talking about the original anime, though. I've watched the new one and for some reason I haven't been able to get into it. It's cool that it follows the manga more closely, but there's just something off about it, I don't know. While I'm on the subject of anime though, I'll go ahead and mention Attack on Titan as one of my favorite shows as well. Sooo good!
Another favorite is The L Word. God, I cannot get enough of this show. It's funny, because usually I hate dramas about catty girls, which is literally exactly what this is. But it does such a great job of it! And the character development is amazing, you feel like you personally know these girls as you're watching the series.
A recent show that I've gotten into which has quickly become a new favorite is American Horror Story. I tried watching it when it first came out, but I just couldn't get into it for some reason. Then it become more and more popular, and the little hipster in me told me it must be terrible because everyone likes it so much. I finally gave it a try because why not, it was on Netflix. And I pummeled through all four seasons in like a month. Brilliant. My favorite season has to be Asylum I think, although I loved them all. While I'm talking about more mainstream shows I'll mention The Walking Dead. Always been a fan since it started, and haven't missed one episode!
Another long time favorite that I'm currently binge watching just for the hell of it is Buffy The Vampire Slayer! Who doesn't like this show? I remember watching this when I was little and getting scared but still always wanting to see it, haha. It's such a fun show!
As far as reality shows, I love to watch Impractical Jokers, The Carbanaro Effect, and Face Off. Annnnnnd those are all of the awesome shows I can think of off the top of my head for now. If anybody has any good recommendations that are on Netflix I'd love to hear them!
