So japan's pretty nice. Spent a week and a half in Iwakuni. Good amenities on base, fucking awesome food right off base too. Haven't had to do too much work, either, so thats certainly good. Then had to fly down here to Okinawa, which is nice but kind of a pain in the ass. I could get my own rental car and drive around but the roads are so goddamn narrow + driving on other side of car/road + nothing is marked means I spend more time in hotel (read: bar) then I wish I really was. Thinking about getting a taxi sometime this week to gate 2 street to do some shopping. If i don't come back with some crappily made Japanese souvinirs I'm going to be on a couple people's shitlists.

Kind of ready to go back to MD though. The 'work' part of this trip (this is business travel, BTW) has been almost a complete bullshit jerk-around. Oh well, as long as all my expense reports get approved. . .
