SanFran was a blast as always.
Nice to see so many of y'all.
Update:
I realize now in hindsight that while I enjoy the chillness of spending most of my time with a small group of friends I don't get the chance to see very often, or even just one or two people, I really didn't take advantage at all of the social aspect of the weekend. I'm kind of ashamed of myself, as that's usually something I'm great at and enjoy thoroughly.
It really just kind of hit me now, and I feel really stupid. I even neglected to spend time with some really good freinds who were in from out of town...man...time was short and sometimes you just had to sleep.
Hopefully, some of this will be remedied by an insane event I plan to throw in SF at the beginning of July. Keep your ears open, eyes peeled, and livers prepared.
And now, on to the next insanity:
Both being at (not sure what I'll be doing there) and doing insane work surrounded by the convention and other things in the industry is making this whole week wacky. And dammit, no one I know who will be there has talked to me about doing anything there. that makes me annoyed. parties, dammit, there are supposed to be parties and business and insanity.
-Looking forward to some nice sleep in my own bed.
