Whoops. Sorry everyone (who cared, ordidn't know), I forgot to tell you I wasn't in town.
I've been in NY since early Friday morning, for my brother's engagement party, general ansillary family get-togethers, and some friends-and-family drama.
It's been fun, it's nice to see snow on the ground, and it hasn't been so cold that I'm afraid to be outside. Got to spend some time in the city, albiet not really on my own terms or social situation.
Spent some quality time with the dogs, and caught up with some cousins who it turns out are grown up and super-kickass. My brother and sister-in-law-to-be took off pretty early, and I didn't really get to spend that much free time with my Brother and Mom because there was always so much other family around, but as always it's good to be with them.
It's been generally a hectic few days, and as always I haven't gotten to connect with as many people as I want to, including a few distinct people with a mysterious lack of communication.
-Leaving this evening, I'll be back in LA tonight/tomorrow, and then back to work.
