Quick, someone congratulate me, I finally quit my fucking job.
Well, I handed in a little under a week's notice, so I'm still there for the week, but the gesture's still the same.
Seriously, quitting your job is like some kind of scary natural high. It just feels way too good.
It's funny, certain people in my life actually choose not to believe me that it really happened, They've just become so accustomed to the fact that I work at this job that I hate so much, and have taken it for granted that I'd always be there, even though I never talked about anything much more than quitting.
Strangely enough, I think I was, in part, one of those people.
Come to think of it, congratulations are great and all, but I guess more importantly, let's all hope that this new semi-job kinda of situation/future employment opportunity pans out the way it seems like it will, and I won't have to worry about the decision I made with such happiness and vigor earlier this evening.
-Either way, Mightyspork is my new hero, and everybody should want to make the babies with her as much as I do.
