(a) i might be mistaken and these could be the THX versions. i really should double check that (by looking for cockpit opacity in the hoth battle for example). Whatever. they're a good picture of MY star wars.
(b) that new new version IS out. Jabba in episode 4 was redone again to look more consistent with the prequel jabba, so you can see him fattening up. And in the end jedi when Obi, Anakin and Yoda appear over the fire .....well... ummm...
