I work in the library/technology center of an elementary school. I just started. This was our first week of having groups of kids in. Not only do they say "hecka," they say "hecksa." The first tiem I heard it I thought it was in my head. The second time I heard it, I nearly wet myself with glee.

i know what you mean about wanting to give and spread love and needing to get some back.
i am the same way... or at least i WAS. i, too, had to find a balance (ah, the needs of a libra). what i found that helped me do the trick a little better was being nice to strangers. as weird as it may sound, there is something very rewarding.. or positive feeling in an exchange with a stranger. while it's nice to do things for people you love and care about, sometimes it gets lost. when you do something nice for a stranger you'll probably never see again, there's a nice exchange and the good feelings keep on going.
at least, that's my thoughts about it.
just remember to give to yourself as much as you give to other people.

I wanted to, there were these kids in front of me, shouting for an encore from a band that had already left when the last band was doign the fake leaving the stage thign, and I havn't been in a fight for like 4 years.
