Apparently this is just the week to be pissed off about things...the girls at my work are all up in arms about this stupid tactless note one of the front desk staff wrote and so it's thrown the whole mood of the salon off. Everyone is on edge and no one wants to talk about why it was so tactless and hurtful and she doesn't want to admit that she was wrong for doing it. I am so glad today was my day off and tomorrow all I have to do is go to the holiday party. I got my hair colored again. It's much more stripey, the blond is blonder and I have more low lites. I am wicked happy with how it turned out. The fun thing was while I was getting it done, Charlie (the kick ass lady who does my color) was explaining to me all about hair cuticles, why and how coloring works, and how you can tell if there has been a lot of stress in a person's life based on how their hair looks. So not only do I have cute hair but I am now incredibly informed on hair.

My stupid sewing machine decided that it needed to break today thus I couldn't get started on making either of the quilts I wanted to do this weekend. Then I went out to see if I could find the repair store and could not find it for the life of me. I drove back and forth on the street where I thought it was for a good hour (it's a long street) before just giving up and coming home. I figure I will make Denise (my soon to be roomie) take me one of these days, so I can drop it off.

I totally can't wait til I move out of here! I love my sister and bro to death, but it is going to be awesome to have my full size bed (instead of a twin futon), a whole closet to myself, and the kitten that I'm gonna get.

I've been dealing with weird brainsapce lately in that I keep having the kneejerk want to flee. I just want to run away and go start somewhere new. I thought I had gotten over this now that I have friends and I have been going out regularly, but apparently my brain is still having issues. I'm sure it will go away once all the stuff at work settles down and people become more stable. My boss and I have decided that the reason it's so funky there is cause it is imbalanced due to the fact that there is only one male who works there and he really only counts as half a male, so there needs to be more male energy. We were talking about hiring guys to just come and hang out for a couple hours at a time to help set things straight. Either that or have people bring their males to work with them....you know like Take Your Daughter to Work Day...

I hate it when I get reminded of how freaking long it has been since I have had sex. Which means I probably should not be on SG cause it doesn't seem to help much given that sex is one of the main topics on here. I think maybe I just like to torment my brain. Oh well...there's hope for the future I am sure...

1) What's one chore around your house that REALLYS needs to be done but you are avoiding it?
A: Taking the Christmas tree down and cleaning my room are tied at the moment I have to say.
2) What's your favorite thing to do on a cold, gray winter day?
A: snuggle under a warm blanket with a cup of tea and a good book/some knitting...
3) What's one thing you learned today?
A: I learned how to adjust all the different tension setting on my sewing machine...not that it helped any.
4) When was the last time you got REALLY dressed up to go some place?
A: well I wore my suit for Graduation last December but before that actually full out girlie dressed up I think it was my senoir prom...though I am getting dressed up tomorrow, so that should be fun.
5) Who's your favorite super hero?
A: it's a toss up between Wonder Woman (based on the fact that she's a kick ass girl) and Batman (cause he's got all the fun toys)
