So I have decided that when I move out of my parents' house I am not buying a TV. I watch entirely too much of it and I never walk away from an evening in front of the TV feeling fulfiled. I think I'll just have a computer. That way I can watch DVDs, but I don't have to watch commericals and political ads and all the extra crap I really have no interest in but watch cause I can't force my brain to walk away from the numbness. I think maybe I'll get a couple of good magazines and a few newspaper subscriptions and my life will have the proper balance of current event knowledge and entertainment.

My other complaint for the evening...dog shit! I get so very annoyed when I go for a bike ride on a gravel path and have to dodge piles smack dap in the middle of the path. I mean I know that it's annoying to have to clean up your dog's shit and then carry it around with you as you go on your run/walk but if it's that big of a hassle...leave the dog at home! I love dogs, don't get me wrong. I think they need to have the chance to get out into different outdoor settings, but if their owner isn't going to clean up after them they don't need to be going out.
