Yay... I have pictures!

Now for some handfasting pictures! Only three to start with, I'm lazy and don't want to do too much work today!


This is Kelly and I before the ceremony, when everyone was telling us to 'stand there so we can get pictures!"

I don't think I could have found a more beautiful spot in the city, or asked for a more beautiful day.


This is during the ceremony, when we have our hands bound together with cords. The guy doing the ceremony for us is Bran, a good and very wise friend I met upon moving to Saskatoon.


Now this is a funny picture. This is Kelly hauling me off into the bushes after Bran explained to him traditionally what happened with the handfasting cords.
Traditionally, you aren't supposed to remove the cords from your hands until the union in consumated. As soon as Kelly heard this, he began to drag me off into the bushes for some consumation!
