A couple of days ago, I had an attack of some sorts and my arms tensed up until it was excruciating. After about an hour my left arm relaxed, but my right arm is still messed up so i havent been able to use it. makes typing pretty interesting, as i am totally right handed and always have joked about my left arm being useless haha. its interesting to eat too :-P the docs said if my arm doesnt get better in a week, they'll have me start physical therapy to get it working again.
it was wierd, my muscles were tensing/cramping up all over my body, to the point that charles could see it happening visibly, all over my stomach and arms...im dizzy and weak a lot too right now so ill be online as i can. and can read messages but not respond to them very easily.
the docs arent sure if it was a stroke, they think prob not because it didnt exhibit all the symptoms of a stroke, but really in the end, they have no idea whats wrong so now i go into more testing
i now have to see a third specialist...a neurologist...and get an MRI so wish me luck! the MRI appt is scheduled for this coming thursday...i will also be seeing a GI Specialist and a Rheumatologist. Im hoping to not have to go back to the ER, I hate that place! Added to all this, my doctor is leaving the clinic i go to, so now i have to find a new doctor too
im trying to just relax and be strong and not get too scared about whats happening, or i just end up feeling worse...and im excited about the MRI, because if I have multiple sclerosis/MS, then it probably should show up...
charles is Amazing!!!!!!!!!!! and helping so much, & my friend paul has come over and helped watch jameson while im at the er, so thats been a huge help too, im lucky he lives only like a 5-10 min walk away...and thanks for all the sweet emails,comments, and encouragement from everyone...if i havent gotten back to you, just know i did get your words, just have too much going on to respond...keep em coming it helps me feel less alone!
