I should preface this by saying I'm not a fan of blogs. I read them, but as for writing them, I feel kinda pretentious. However, I've had about enough beer and curry to embolden me for this here literary log that nobody will likely read! So instead of writing an entry about my thoughts or feelings or whatnot, I'm going to write a blog about blogs! More simply, I'm addicted to weird humour blogs, the sort that people take pictures or write stories and send 'em in. There are more every day, and for the sake of my free time I hope I don't find them all. So here are some of my favourites!
http://www.engrish.com/ - Probably the first one of these I stumbled across, all of it fantastic.
http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/ - This one is lighthearted and has had me laughing hysterically. I have their book too
http://thisiswhyyourefat.com/ - I am a lover of food and of excess, and this takes that to an extreme that is sometimes delicious and sometimes horrific.
http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/ - Another one that walks the line between awesome and just scary
http://accidentaldong.blogspot.com/ - Hee hee. Dong.
http://www.abadcaseofthedates.com/ - This has been my latest addiction, most of these stories make me feel pretty good about my lousy dating history, with a touch of schadenfreude.
http://www.latfh.com/ - Look at This Fucking Hipster, need I say more?
http://facesinplaces.blogspot.com/ - Another cute, lighthearted sort of blog, in case you were sick of the cynicism and viewing the Cthonian elements of humanity.
http://yourstatusisannoying.com/ - For those of us who waste entirely too much time on Facebook and have those friends we really were meaning to delete...
And lastly.. http://www.geekologie.com/ - My most trusted of these, news and amusing commentary on everything geeky.
The evenings I'm not spending out with friends or tossing around healing spells on my level 80 Orc Shaman are usually squandered on these sites, with my Pandora channel trundling through selections of folk, industrial, and stuff with banjos. The internet is a wonderful and terrible thing, indeed.
