So as some can see from my newest profile picture, and the picture of me with Winston the kitteh, I have finally (and most importantly-successfully) dyed my hair the red that I love! I did NOT use bleach, as that would destroy my hair since I straighten it almost every day...it's terrible, I know. The longer my hair gets, that easier it is. I used L'Oreal Majicontrast in Red (Rouge). I used two tubes, and L'Oreal Oreor developer in 40 volume (12% strength), so it would lift my hair that was a dark brown/reddish/copper (thanks to the previous botched coloring that was from Vidal Sasson's shitty box dyes).
For my friends in the States (I'm from California, so I feel this pain too), L'Oreal Majicontrast can only be bought by those with a professional hairdressing license...so the simple solution is to buy it off of ebay like I did, or Amazon...ebay UK has it, as well as where I got mine from...in Hong Kong~!
My sister did it, and I absolutely love it! I'm getting a lot of weird looks, but what else is new! :P
I'm getting more hours at work which is pretty exciting, and I am more than excited for my tattoo that I will be getting on Wednesday at 3pm! Eek! It's a quote...I'm also planning out my upper arm tattoo, which may be the beginning of a sleeve for me, although I haven't 100% decided on that yet. I am also coming up with some awesome leg tattoo ideas to go inside my vintage frame idea...( I might not put Steve Miller, or any actual human with eyes if that makes sense...I figured it might make people nervous). Of course, I am mega poor, so this probably won't be happening anytime soon, which is fine because I need to do more planning and I have many bills to pay. Priorities first!
