EMPTY BOTTLES

I think its time i sit this last one out-
before i fall and make an ass of myself-
we'll never learn until we see the other side-
an open mind, we'll try to keep on holding out-
your at a party the other day-
and all your friends are there-
no one's holding back-
is life that good or fair?-
by two a.m. you're foaming at the mouth
search the whole house what did you find out?
when we're together it's electric lunacy-
then the keg runs dry-
the beer was free-
five minutes later there's an immediate reaction-
there's no more alcohol so we must leave-
empty bottles...... no one like to find!-
empty bottles...... drunks can't cope with!-
empty bottles..... oh no! it's two a.m.!-
empty bottles..... a drunk man's hell!-

i'm not desperate for friends. i just remember how lonely i was as a kid, and how hard it was for me to make friends. i'm thankful for the friends i have now, but for some reason i'm afraid i'll end up a lonely adult. hmmmm, why am i telling you this? you don't even know me, and i'm sure you don't want to hear about my fear of being alone.
