this has been the second substantial snowfall since October.
this is very, very unusual.
it's going to be a long, hot, very dry summer.
in other news, I bought a 3-pack of thumb-picks yesterday.
(that sounds vaguely dirty, but it's not.)
I'm still struggling to learn the guitar, & having trouble making the transition from thumb-strumming to using a pick--it just sounds wierd, snags, throws my already non-existent sense of rhythm all to hell (using a pick, that is)
seems to be working alright, but it cuts all circulation to my thumb-tip.
(& I keep waiting for someone to ask: "How's the thumbtip?" so I can tell them. but no one ever does. sigh.)
