my friday night--had a long conversation with a friend in Wisconsin yesterday with whom things may be developing in an interesting direction (or were doing such, before she moved back to WI a few months ago) & she asked, nay, begged, for stories (it seems that most of the women I get involved with just want me for my gorgeous mind. dammit, don't they realize that I have a body as well?)
as I really don't have much else on my plate tonight, I think that I might do an exercise I used to do (with limited success) for a while a few years ago--namely, buy a 12-pack of cheap beer, a "Weekly World News" & two packs of cigarettes. the goal is to stay at the typewriter & write a poem or prose piece about each & every story. usually, out of maybe 30 or 40 pieces, 10 or so are somewhat interesting (usually these appear early in the 12-pack. odd, that,)
try it, kids. it's fun! it keeps the mind supple & frisky! it's...well, something to do when one of the women you're interested in lives in Wisconsin & the other in New York....
