I have a new toy: a Fender Stratacaster & I love it (the cats, however, do not, & have been circling ads in the classifieds for new dwellings)

I've been plunking on an accoustic for about a year & a half now, & it's fine for "Michael, Row The Boat Ashore" (or, as I play it: "Michael...wait...Michael Row...Michael Row...no, wait...FUCK!" as my fingers tend to get all spastic when doing the difficult chords such as...well, all of 'em--but with an electric IT DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER AS LONG AS IT'S LOUD & GROWLY! ROCK'N'ROLL!! FUCK YEAH!!! SLA-YEEEEEEERRR!!!!)

granted, it's just me getting all loud & growly by myself in my living room with the kitties looking askance.

anyway, get one. they're ever so fun.
