What software did you use? Systran? "translators" may be used two ways: either for translating several instruction manuals from Korean to Swedish then to Italian in a very short time (provided that you're paid for that by a Lebanese who doesn't know a single word either Korean nor Italian nor Swedish); or for providing amusement to a company of playful dispositions, on a rainy afternoon, following this game's rule: first pick up random text; then have Systran translating it to random language; then translate back translation to original language; last, read resulting text out loud. Hours of fun guaranteed.

A more serious view is what you want? I think softwares like yours could be used to provide lexical information, 'cause it translates correctly (mainly) the nouns: but it seems unable to identify conjugated verbs..... and it doesn't provide these small expletive things you'll find everywhere in french sentences: , de, par, pour.... tout a, quoi! Maybe it works better the other way, from french to english: less conjugaison problems; less little words with no apparent usefulness...
