pokin around on the npr website & plugged in the names of some poeple whose names popped into my head, interesting stuff (what I've listened to) but pretty low-key (being npr & all) if anyone has some time to kill:
tom waits
eddie izzard
they might be giants
kristen hersh
richard thompson
ani difranco
dang. I have too much time on my hands, don't I?
oh, in case you were wondering
(I'm just in a linkin' mood this morning, ain't I?)

A more serious view is what you want? I think softwares like yours could be used to provide lexical information, 'cause it translates correctly (mainly) the nouns: but it seems unable to identify conjugated verbs..... and it doesn't provide these small expletive things you'll find everywhere in french sentences: , de, par, pour.... tout a, quoi! Maybe it works better the other way, from french to english: less conjugaison problems; less little words with no apparent usefulness...
