12 thousand things I'd like to write about, but the machinery's gotten so rusty it scares me.
I used to churn out--no exaggeration--maybe 200 pages of handwritten material & a few dozen typewritten pages PER WEEK. now I'm lucky if I can get an email or two that I don't delete before sending.
it's not writer's block--I learned to conquer that a while ago by just bullshitting about whatever the eye falls upon until the grease drips back into the gears.
I'm afraid to write, & it bugs the shit out of me & I've got to figure out why.
(which is, of course, bullshit: I've been trying to figure out WHY for a while now, I just need to get the fuck over it)
